Answer to #4: In order for an electrical circuit to occur, the types of material that must be inclueded in the circuit is magnetic material. The evidence is in the fact that the nail made the light bulb light-up and the paper did not. Materials placed in a cicuit unit that allow the bulb to glow are called conducters. The materials that do not allow the bulb to glow are called non-conducters.

Answer to #3: When an electrical device is connected to two cables which are connected to a cell, an electric current flows into the bulb and lights it up. The only way that an electric current can flow into the bulb though, is when it is a closed circle. (Justin)

Answer to #12: The more cells you have connected to the circuit, the brighter the light bulb is because of how much electricity the cells give off to the bulb. The bulb then absorbs how much electicity it recieves, making it into light. It depends on how much electricity the bulb recieves, to make into light. Meaning, if more cells that give off electricity were connected to the circuit, then more light would come off the light bulb because of how much electricity is being absorbed in the bulb. (Brooke)
Data table and graph (#14):(Beau) Every time you add a cell the Electric Current goes up 1.5 mA.

If the number of batteries increase, the bulb will grow brighter due to the incresed energy. In our lab, it shows how the bulb gets brighter with each battery. The reason this occurs, is because each battery holds energy, and when there are two batteries or three, they give off more energy together than apart. (Courtney)

BRIGHTEST!
When there was one battery the electricity was measured at 1.5 kilowats. At 2 cells, the electricity was measured at 3 kilowats. When there were 3 batteries, the electicity was measured at 4.5 kilowats. Finally, when there were 4 cells, the electricity was measured at 6 kilowats.

Summary:
In this investigation our group observed an electric charge interaction between a balloon and other objects such as aluminum foil, paper and another charged balloon. First we observed what would happen if a charged balloon came close to a pile of foil. When the charged balloon came close to the foil the foil was attracted to the balloon causing the foil to fly up and stick to the balloon. Next our group tested what would happen if a charged balloon came close to a pile of shredded paper. When the balloon came close to the pile of paper the paper was attracted to the balloon so it flew up and stuck to the balloon but it was not as strong as the foil's attraction. Lastly our group tested what would happen if two charged balloons came close to each other. When the two balloons came close to each other they repelled each other. From this investigation our group learned that when two charged balloons come close to one another they repel each other. We also learned that metals like aluminum are attracted to electric charges.(Chris)
Nicely done, very complete and concise. [3 - Great work]
Circumstances under which the electrical charge interactions occur:
Electrical charge interactions occur when a substance rubs against another substance causing it's electrons to transfer to another objects electrons.
And then what has to happen with that now charged object in order for there to be an electric charge interaction?
Charged Balloon/Paper: When the charged balloon and the half centimeter ripped pieces of paper were relatively close, the static charge from the balloon caused the pieces of paper to attach to the charged balloon. The attachment looked exactly like when two magnets connected because of their magnetic poles. In this case, the balloon's electric charge forced the paper to link to the balloon. The evidence that supported this reaction was that there was a change in motion.(Brooke)

Charged Balloon/Charged Balloon: When the charged balloon and the other charged balloon were relatively close, the static charge from one balloon repelled the other balloon in the opposite direction. The evidence that supported reaction was that there was a change in motion.(Justin)

(2 Balloons Repelling) (Barbara Tangas)
This picture is a nice touch!
Procedure: In this experiment, we wanted to discover what happens when an electrically charged object is near some pieces of paper and aluminum that don't have a charge, and what happens when a charged object interact with another charged object.
Step 1: We ripped up some paper and aluminum foil into small pieces and separated them into two piles.

Magnetic material(torn up tinfoil): When we brought the charged balloon near the torn up tinfoil, it was immediately attracted. The foil had a change in motion.
Two charged objects(two charged balloons) : When near each other, the two charged balloons repeled each other because they contained the same charge. They had a change in motion.
What are the conditions that must exist in order for an electric charge interaction to take place? What happens during an electric charge interaction? This information needs to be summed up at the end! [2 - Almost there]

Hypothesis: Our group thought that the two balloons would attract and shock each other due to the charge in both of them.(Summer)
After that experiment was conducted, we began to perform another one, regarding electric-charged interaction. We rubbed a wool cloth over the two balloons, and when we situated the two balloons near each other, they both repelled in opposite directions. (as if two North/North or South/South magnets were placed by each other)(Courtney C.) This shows that the charged objects are only attracted to the non-charged objects, such as the tin foil and paper. (like the North and South parts of magnets) It also shows that charged objects are almost like magnets.(Summer) Due to this, we conclude that just like magnets, when two same electic charges are near each other they push away. When two different electric chargers are near each other they attract (even with non-magnetic material).(Patrick)

-Non-magnetic material: The non magnetic material was attracted to the balloon I know this happened because there was a change in motion with the paper shreds.
